City Life on a Small Scale

Second stop for us in KL: the Butterfly Garden. It was an interesting place – humid and busy. Mostly beautiful, but also a little sad. The butterflies live in the center of this vast tropical city, and there were many dead butterflies scattered about, or struggling ones.

Who knows if they were hurt by a patron or died a natural death, but some of the most beautiful ones were also the lifeless. Regardless, it was pretty, and hopefully the funds help conservation efforts to the butterfly species.
