Skirting the ocean edge of Marin County in California is Point Reyes National Seashore – both a relic of my childhood and my adulthood stomping grounds each Christmas. This season, Trent, Callie, Stéphane and I headed to the seashore with a hike in mind, but instead took a tour bus around the areas closed off to drivers.
We visited the lighthouse, saw Tule elk and finally ended up at elephant seal cove. It was a beautiful, slightly blustery day — but very clear for the ocean shore.
