Our last stop on the cruise through Alaska’s inside passage was actually not in Alaska. Prince Rupert, Canada is a tiny port town where we mostly just wandered around. We turned a corner and found these traps. Right behind me while I was taking this photograph were 12 to 15 bald eagles flying around, perched on buildings and logs and even fishing. There’s even one in the sky. These traps were sitting in a vacant lot between warehouses and the water.
I must say the sky was incredibly brilliant that day walking through the neighborhoods of Prince Rupert. Which is a good thing since there isn’t a lot to do in the town except for walk around.
