CHOPPY WAVES,
BLUE WATERS

On New Years Day, 2015, Stéphane, his parents and I boarded a boat twenty feet offshore and took the choppiest boat ride ever to a pristine chain of islands known as Ang Thong — to snorkel, dine and take in the views. When we weren’t holding on for dear life, the breeze up front was perfect. We were laughing and pointing out the rock features.

Our guides were great! They entertained and told us about the local regions. By the end of the trip we were very tuckered out — an amazing, filling lunch in a tiny village satisfied us!

One stop included a beach — just a narrow strip of sand between two rocks — where we got out, lounged and walked in the sand.
