THROUGH THE
LOOKING GLASS

Seattle has a beautiful skyline for many reasons, two of which (the Space Needle and the Columbia Tower) don’t even appear in the photo here. The story behind the photo is simple: one Friday after work, I was downtown and able to stop in at a close friend’s (actually the owners of Carrie, a doggie featured previously).

We had a glass of wine (or four) and sitting there, relaxing, just shooting the breeze, I noticed the beauty in the glass. The white wine had an effect on the color, making it brighter than reality. I have actually white filtered the skyline, but the contrast between reality and the skyscrapers through the wine glass remains.
