Every year, the tulip festival draws thousands of people to northwestern Washington. I went in April of 2011, however, I did not get to see any tulips – we went a bit too early. Instead, we explored this daffodil field.
It’s a pretty picture: acres of flowers under the typical Pacific sky, ominous and wet, just like the ground. These acres of flowers sprout along the road, spotted with “Do Not Trespass” signs.
Naturally, of course, I trespassed.
