A Jaunt Around Snow Lake

by hopesfrenzy

On a thundery summer day in the Pacific Northwest, my friends and I embarked on a little adventure through the Cascades to Snoqualmie Pass. We were hiking to Snow Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. We trekked for an hour and a half, mostly uphill, along a sparsely forested trail.

Eventually, we reached a ridge — with a very stark difference both in flora and terrain. And downhill we went!

Snow Lake almost immediately came into view, with these amazing views. The sky was tumultuous (and in fact it rained moments after we got in the lake). We crowded for shelter under a tree.
