A Visit to the Conservancy

We were in Chicago for one of my best friend’s wedding! While work absorbed most of my morning, I was finally able to break away and my friend Lucinda and I took a nice walk through Lakeview neighborhood, grabbed some arepas along the way, and finally hit Lake Michigan and Lincoln Park. Our destination: Lincoln Park Conservancy.

We waited for Stéphane, who was on his way back from working downtown. I love plants and greenhouses, and it was neat to point out plants that I had seen on my travels.

After that, we walked through Lincoln Park Zoo to see some of the animals (I grabbed a bier!). It was a nice, chilly Chicago afternoon.
