A Walking Tour through the Medina

After a weary day of travelling and a good night’s sleep, our trusty crew set out on a new day to spend in Fes, a city filled with arts, culture and history.

We started off at the royal palace before any other tourists got there. And, just like Marrakech, the souks in Fes were windy, narrow and bustling. We visited artisans practicing their various crafts, from weaving to tanning to mosaics. Our guide for the day showed vast knowledge and he seemed to know many folks around the city.

We easily would have gotten lost.
