An Introduction to New Amsterdam

My first free afternoon and evening spent in New York City was spent taking in as much as possible – and a lot of walking! Battery Park, Chelsea and the High Line were my primary destinations, although I explored much of the west side simply walking around.

A moment I never realized I had was actually photographing my future office!

What surprised me were a few things: how many people there were, and how far away the Statue of Liberty is – and how small. The quintessential New York architecture was fascinating, especially the water towers on most buildings.
