A second trip to New York City for a training gave me an opportunity to continue to explore the big city. I walked once again – a lot – and my feet led me to the southern part of Central Park, where I found a scene from Angels in America, one of my favorite shows and plays.
At the Museum of Modern Art, I found some paintings that I recognized right away, notably Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans and Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night. Edward Munch’s The Storm really affected me… you can see his The Scream reminiscence, but the marked difference are the others in back.
The woman in front seems outcast, brave, walking toward something. That something does not seem to be good.
