Castle in the sky

We spent a couple of days in Kilkenny. During the day, we explored the massive castle grounds with a big sky overhead. We played on the lawn and took a tour of the castle. The front lawn stretched forever and the sky was so beautiful. They stretched on as far as the eye could see. I attempted to capture their size with this photo, especially in relation to the ground.

The next morn, after grabbing some food at a grocery store, we trekked onward. Kilkenny Castle rose out of the dense fog that morning. I like “Castle” because the bridge, with its red-tipped light posts, and the passerby completely negate the castle’s potential ominous nature.
