In a park in this little Transylvanian town in Romania I found these dilapidated chess boards. Oddly enough, the rest of the park was in pretty good condition, but I guess the people just aren’t that fond of chess. Anyway, I like this picture mostly for its subject, and the cool graffiti on the chess board.
It makes you wonder why they would keep the rest of the park in good condition and just leave these rotting chess boards in the corner. I also think that the arrangement and condition of the seats are pretty unique.
Romania was quite the experience overall.
