Cold Welcome to Finland

Landing in the winter in Finland wasn’t my idea – it had the cheapest plane tickets to Barcelona, believe it or not. So we had a 6-hour layover, and explored most of downtown in that time, ha. It’s a small city.

Our primary destination, aside from lunch, was the Helsinki Cathedral and the senate square. The architecture of the cathedral was pretty different than what I was used to seeing.

After a bit, chilling in the cold Finnish air, we headed back to the airport to board another plane.
