Deer in the Morning Mist

I returned to Fort Worden after many years away, this time for a wedding. We didn’t explore the many ruins of the fort right outside of Port Townsend like I had before, but we very much enjoyed celebrating our friends’ marriage.

On the last morning spent there, we awoke to find these two deer quietly grazing on the green lawn in front of our cabin. With the buildings in the background, it was a picturesque moment I could’t let pass uncaptured.
