Epic Waves in Liguria

We made a stop on the way from Portofino to Monterosso al Mare. It was a larger town with a long shoreline, and we walked on the boardwalk to find a restaurant.

As we strolled, the waves came CRASHING into the shore. There was a man-made line of boulders that damped the blow, but forced the waves soaring into the air as they rolled along.

I took so many photos, that I had to put a few of my favorites up here. It really was beautiful.
