Nearly Private Tour in the Province

by hopesfrenzy

If you know me, you know that one my goals is to visit every state capitol building. Not sure why, but there’s just something about the various forms of governance and architectures that fascinates me.

Well, when in Canada, I might as well also visit the provincial capitols! So, in Toronto, I went to the provincial capitol building, or the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It was an awesome building! With some crazy stories, including a mace. Canadian method of governing is very different than ours.

Also, the tour I got from a young, knowledgeable and somewhat controlling woman was very unique. As were my two companions, one of whom couldn’t speak English so his companion translated the entire time.
