Two of my best friends got married in August of 2013, and they held their wedding at the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum at the Seattle Center, right underneath the Space Needle. Dale Chihuly is a Tacoma-born glass artist whose signature works can be found in hotel lobbys and rich peoples’ homes across the Pacific Northwest. There is also a Tacoma Glass Museum where I first saw Chihuly work (and there is Chihuly in a McDonald’s in Tacoma as well!).
