Subway Station 42nd Composition

This is just a snapshot of our subway station – 42nd street – that we depart from so often. If you’ve ever been in the subways of New York City, especially in the summer, the heat, people, noise and humidity are stifling.

Each station has something unique about it. The 42nd Street-Times Square Station is a maze of tunnels, stairs and storefronts.

This photograph captures just the composition of a subway station, complete with the Department of Environmental Protection contraption that tests air quality for chemical weapons.
