There’s a magical hilltop town called Èze that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. While a bit touristy, it was charming and beautiful – most of all the coastal garden that festooned its cliffs and the ruined church at the peak.
Stéphane was thrilled to show me around! While the cobblestone paths, cute shops and beautiful views definitely won me over, my favorite part was the garden at the top. All filled with native plants, the unique cacti and flora was stark against the verdant hills around us.
The very top platform were the ruins of a church, with 360 degree views around the hilltown.
